Enterprise Forum presents a Panel Discussion of four early-stage stars and their executives who will share behind-the-scenes details about how they put their big deals together and what obstacles they overcame...and the rest of us can learn from their success.
Every start-up wants a chance to make it big, and they work hard to prepare for the opportunities to present themselves. Is that enough? Is there more to be done to nail that big deal?
Our panel will discuss their recent Big Deal-an acquisition of their company, or the successful raise of significant investment-how they prepared, what factors were considered, and how has the Big Deal changed their company.
Our panelists will be:
Raul Valdes-Perez, co-founder and ex-CEO of Vivisimo (acquired by IBM)
Aaron Morris, co-founder and ex-CEO of AllPoint Systems (acquired by AutoDesk)
Henry Thorne, co-founder and CTO of 4Moms (recently raised $20M VC)
Patrick Daly, President and CEO, Cohera Medical (recently raised $17M VC)
Following the panel presentations, the audience will be invited to ask questions of the panelists.
PITCH, CONNECT, NETWORK We will also continue our theme of this year by allowing a select number of individuals to make their 'elevator pitch' to the panel. We are looking for companies that are working toward their own Big Deal and want to get advice from the panel. (note: A limited number of entrepreneurs and researchers will be selected for the 'pitch' portion of the program. Click HERE for a downloadable application.) PARKING: Beginning at 5:30pm, a limited number of spots will be available in the parking lot next to the 4Moms building. It is accessible from Railroad Street either on 24th or 25th St. If the lot is full, there is ample street parking on Railroad St., 24th St., and 25th St. The Cork Factory Parking Garage is also across the street and available for use.
