Mike Howard is Principal of Michael T. Howard & Associates, a firm he founded in 2007 which provides consulting services and solutions for the Board and CEO of growing organizations. We help them become more effective in leading and governing their enterprises and in achieving their missions.

Previously Mike was Senior Vice President of Corporate Services and CFO of MEDRAD Inc., a recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. During his 16 year tenure with MEDRAD the company grew from $49 million annual sales to over $500 million. In addition to Finance, Mike provided leadership for the Information Technology, Human Resources, Marketing Services, Internal Consulting and Legal Services functions. He also led MEDRAD's Business Development efforts in the acquisition of three small companies and initiation of several technology development programs.

Prior to joining MEDRAD, Mike was the Controller at Teradyne Connections Systems and Vice President-Finance of the Medical Device Group of Boston Scientific Corporation. Mike is Vice Chair of the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE), and serves on the Board of several early stage growth companies such as Developing World Power Inc and Caliber Infosolutions Inc.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from Yale University (1972) and an MBA with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1975). Mike served as a panelist on the February 2007 MIT Enterprise Neurokinetics Forum.
